Notes - Cornelius (Neil), according to census records, was born between 1843 and 1845 in Virginia. Cornelius never married. He was living withhis brother Wesley in Coalfield on the 1880 census and family members say he lived out his life in Wesley's home, even after Wesley died. It is unknown when Cornelius died but it is thought that he was buriedin Davis cemetery beside his brother William Wesley.
Family legend says Cornelius, or "Uncle Neil" was never married. After Wesley died, he stayed with Martha. But was he a help or ahendrance? J. Solis 06-01-09
During one census, he is in the Wesley McGlothin household and so is Cordelia, or Della, McGlothin, who is listed as a sister-in-law. Notknown if Cornelious was her husband or someone else. She apparentlymarried three times, but documentation is not included at this time.J Solis 06-01-09
