  From a post on Ancestry.com: Bessie Keathley was eleven years older then father who was Boyd Keathely. In other words Bessie was one of Dad older sisters. Bessie and Dad seems offer close. I remembering spenting time satting on the porch. Bessie pickles was the best in the area. I believe mom was jealous that I like her pickles. Mom made pickles but not as good as aunt Bessie. I was really sad when uncle Wiley dead. We miss him so much. I was not going to add this story but I went berry picking with Aunt Bessie trying not to eat any I did pretty good Aunt Bessie said she heard how I ate she said she was suprise they surely had made it up.They did not make it up. Iwas trying to change my ways. There was a lot of sadness in our family. I will not write it because of family reason. There is plenty of stories to write but not at this time. Author unknown but obviously a child of Boyd Cross, who was a brother to Bessie.
